While in a vehicle today i noticed an undercover police car, was following it for a while, n noticed the brake light on the parcel shelf did not operate, when the vechile pulled someone over infront of me, the rear brake light seemes to be a blue/red strobe... didn't wanna infronm them of the defect incase they thought i was being stupid or smart... i'm certainly not hanging shit on the police in anyform but yeh as they say then can defect any vehicle, i don't doubt it, i certainly have quite a pile of yellow tickets... hence the sale of the vehicle!

i laughed when rumour was that cops were gettin undercover silvias and stuff -- woulda been funny when they pulled you over and said "your too low and you got a BOV. 2 points" and you point at theres and say "OK you first!"

A good friend of mine acctualy got out of a lot of $$'s in fines when the good officer started to go over his car, he politely asked the policeman when he last checked his electrics, as a front light was out. Officer bid him farewell, and drove off, left my mate sitting there wondering wtf just happened.

We've spotted many police vehicles with defects, and have pointed it out to them on every occurance possible.

However, they tend to not take kindly to such information and I'm yet to see anyone demand to see them defect themselves smile.gif

they are just jelouse that all ur cars are better than their 'undercover' ones, they look at them to cheak out the mods, defect you for them, then put it into their cars lol

i agree with that on some instances but i see it as 1 rule for us as many rules and defects and fines as they can slap us with.

hmmmm there is no law that states that we can't take pictures of defectable cop cars is there........ then posting them on the net. laugh.gif laugh.gif

It would be stupid if cops did start defecting themselves cause we would be the ones pay for the costs..... Also i thought there was some OHS law that states that an employer can't legally give an employee a cefective vehicle cause if they have an accident the insurance is void and the employer has to pay all costs. (I'm not sure if thats correct but i'm pretty surre i heard it in an OHS class somewhere... blink.gif

can add to this one night i pull out of my street and see a cop car drive past me before i pull out
he is heading in the same direction as me and i notice that he has a head light out (it was night time)
at next set of lights i pull up next to him and signal to him to wind his window down.
he does so i then very politley and smugly tell him that
" hey mate do you know you have head light out? you should be carfull you wll get a ticket for that "
he didnt find it funny Drink.gif
he said "thank you" with a filthy look on his face
