Which N/A 4 Cylinder engine do u like most and why. Also wat car is it generally found in.

I would have to say the SR20 in the pulsars and silvias. Dont know why but i just like them lol

Yes SR20DE is among the fave's other wise the 4AGE (toyota engine good for clubmans) IMO

B16A 1.6l vtec civic and crx engine
B18C 1.8l vtec integra engine
h22a honda prelude engine i think its an 4cyl 2.2l vtec

but cant go past the 4age and sr20de thumbsup.gif

SR16VVL (N1) 197.3 hp @ 7800 rpm 133.8 ft-lb @ 7600 rpm
and thats why biggrin.gif, best stock hp/litre ration outside of jdm s2k, I wanna get the cheaper version (175hp) and boost it with some new internals, leaving the 68.7mm stroke alone biggrin.gif

Evolution 3 E30 M3 beemer motor, 2.3 litres, revved to 9.5 k and made 280 hp. But they are very, very expensive. In germany in the late 80's these motors were making upwards of 850 hp in turbo'd form in the E30 race cars during qualifing, and around 600 hp for racing. Thats pretty crazy shit in even todays standards.

4g54 Astron

2.6l Inline 4 banger which lasted around 10 years of production. A strong as motor, the earlier models didnt make alot of power, but compensated with more than enough torque. Strap a decent turbo on them and a bit of EFI, and it will decimate all!

Found in sigmas, scorpions, early magnas, tritons etc. But most famed in the sigmas

the 3 litre 4 cylinder in a porsche 968..i think they were (and probably still are) the biggest 4 cylinder production engine. i think have around 185kw of power (cant remember completely, but shitloads of torque smile.gif

20v 4AGE or an early M3 4 cyc. Maybe an FJ20.

While the SR20 is a half decent turbo motor it really lacks the drive train strength needed for the big rpm's needed in a hig power N/A motor.
