yes glad im working all weekend with the schoolies in surfers but cant wait for 12 days time when i return to the track for some better times with some more changes to the car from last wednesday

Sounds cool.... i might come up for a few runs.

How much is the ambo to hire? I heard QLD's ambulance service charge ridiculous prices.... it might be another $1000 for them!

Hiring the track would be alot better than going to the test & tune - we could make it a bracket meet and then everyone has a chance at winning!!

And a powderpuff section would be good, attract more of the female members to have a crack at it. (and i can back the Torana up with the missus in it tongue.gif )

i think when you hire the track the price they tell you includes the ambo. I think it is compulsary for them to have one there when they hire the track out.

Hoon is mine.... last time i ran i had a fucked carbie and the car was flooding itself, the altitude was thru the roof and the 2.78 diff only allowed me to use half the motor!!

Carb is fixed, and im gonna get a decent set of diff gears, and ill stay in Yomanto for the day so im not going to be driving for over 3 hours straight to the staging lanes!

And i wont lock my keys in the boot this time either! unsure.gif

I would be interested in racing to, but only if we could get the track. Test n' Tune's are already packed as it is, and with all the "proposed" races here, I think you'd be very lucky to get them in.

i have just spoken to willowbank raceway, and i have both good news and bad news.
GOOD news, we WILL, be hiring the track as an OFFICAL Boostcruising ONLY evening one FRIDAY NIGHT, early next year, in the first 4months. this is the FIRST TIME willowbank has been hired this way, and after speakin at length to a few off the owners they are very excited about it and i have scheduled a face to face meeting with them early january/late december to discuss this further. but this WILL be happening.

i have chosen a friday night as i felt it had the best chance of allowing MOST people to go, i realise not all can make it and the track hire time will be from 4pm till 10pm.

BAD news, first off is we obviously cant do it on the test n tune night, so, i WILL be running it as i had planned, with cars coming back to a central area after each race, seeing me, and getn a new compeditor. and the other bad news is this nite for us alone WONT be to cheap, and once i have prices confirmed i WILL be asking for help with fund. but more on that closer to the date.


for NOW.....we stick with what we have planned, but rest assured i WILL be following this thru to completion. this event WILL HAPPEN. and its gunna RAWK!
