im more of the goer than the shower
nice suspension set up (sway bars bushes etc etc) and a engine that can handel a bit of power, nice head work, with adequite fuel system, few bolt ons and lots of internal work
i mean who wants a sik wog box that has cut springs and nearly rolls over when corneringthen its so low u brake ur BIG body kit on every bump
and has no power cause its still the stock hyundi excel engine
im actuly building my bmw at the moment to have a bit of looks, but not over the top, it wont have chromies or that shit, it does have a body kit on it, but im doin a bit to the engine etc etc

best bet, if you dont want fines and police attention is to buy a volvo, put on a dodgy cap and swerve at all other drivers on the road.

the cops dont just go after fast cars.. have a look @ the espy and see which cars theyre pulling over for checks.. the ones with kits.

All the car needs externally is a clean fresh lick of paint and some decent mags with some nice tyres (a scoop if you TMIC requires it) combined with your FMIC and exaust should give you more than enough of a tasteful image as opposed to having "HKS, BLITZ, GARAGE WHATEVER, BLAH BLAH - A.K.A PLEASE PULL ME OVER OFFICER" posted all down the sides of cars.

Why have stupid fender disgracing stickers, t-wings that give no downforce and the car planted so far on its ass, that the chances of handling it over 80km/hr are close to nill. Not the mention the allure to the car thiefs seeing 'A L P I N E' stickered over your window, then you wonder why your car stereo is gone?

But it's your car. You make the choice, right! wink.gif

quick car any day over a slow slow slow nice-looking car.

i think that in qld, more people would prefer to spend 4k on shiny wheels than on engine mods... other states don't seem to be like this from what i've seen, and i've been out cruising in syd/melb/adelaide.

but hey, each to their own. my car doesnt look nice and its slow, so i got the worst of both worlds.

and at the end of the day, bling bling cars is what turns heads... though personally i respect cars like 16OTU etc a lot more than a car with 30k spent on shiny bits and pieces.

each to their own i say, i like a happy medium, there will ALWAYS be someone faster/louder/blingier than you, so make yourself happy, thats all that counts.

I didn't vote as I like a 50-50 mix. To me as many of you have seen from my car I like it to stand out with exceptional detail to it's standard paint, keep the factory lines and no big fibreglass kits etc, with big mumbo under the bonnet and nice wheels. Overall a classy apperance yet still factory looking but different enough to catch peoples eyes and make them look twice and think "Is that factory or not". That's how I catch my victims biggrin.gif . Fancy paint works and bold interiors are fine don't get me wrong but it's just not me. Once again tho different strokes for different folks.

depending on the car.. and how difficult it is to make it go.

I dont' expect all the mirages in Aust to be modded significantly.. because it cost's alot of money to make them quick..

compared to say a 200sx or an Rx7.. (sports Car's)

but happy medium is good..

personally I prefer to got the whole hog in both aspect's.

but it's not viable for everyone.

but there is not too many places to let the car go and get its to its full speed...

so if your broke like me, you would prefer to spend ya money on a nice looking car that yes does go well too....

i guess its just personal taste..

so i guess i wil say 50 - 50
