My ten year old Plasma TV died, which was a shame, because you could make toast on it whilst watching a program. The TV was incorporated into the stand, and it seemed a shame to throw it out with the TV,so my son and I ripped the TV off,and fitted a top to it.When we went to look at TV's,I had express orders from 'she who must be obeyed',DON'T you come home with another huge TV (I bought a big one for the Family Room and some reference to dick size),it can't be any wider than the stand. |

The new TV is ten inches bigger than the old one,but ,hey it's not wider than the stand ![]() Also, just to shit her off more,I bought a Sony sound system to go with it i'd say that it measured up just right. ![]() |

was listening to the song last week, and thought, oh the irony, now just needs someone to dub the song on the trailer. song lyrics........... QUOTE Forty-seven dead beats living in the back street
North east west south all in the same house Sitting in a back room waiting for the big boom I'm in a bedroom waiting for my baby CHORUS: She's so mean but I don't care I love her eyes and her wild wild hair Dance to the beat that we love best Heading for the nineties Living in the wild wild west The wild wild west Mandy's in the backroom handing out Valium Sheriff's on the airwaves talking to the D.J.'s Forty-seven heartbeats beating like a drum Got to live it up live it up Ronnie's got a new gun CHORUS Now put your flags in the air and march them up and down You can live it up live it up all over the town And turn to the left, turn to the right I don't care as long as she comes tonight CHORUS Heading for the nineties living in the eighties Screaming in a back room waiting for the big boom Give me give me wild west Give me give me safe sex Give me love give me love Give me time to live it up CHORUS |

Chill them next time i'll have to wait to get them on special, and do what you did, have a few in stock. I had a look in the gyms fridge last night, they sell an equivalent to the p30 - or what looks to be similar - for $6 a pop. stuff that. I think I might try some of the muesli bar / protein bars next, maybe that one that dickens posted up. seriously though, i'll have a look at normal muesli bars to see how much protein they contain. ![]() |

Just my observation over the last 30 years with lots of friends and workmates who have been into the whole bodybuilding/sports/fitness deal. Supplements were more in the bodybuilding sphere than most other fitness areas and while they seemed to promote growth, I was just surprised how little real work strength and stamina these guys had, it seemed to build appearance over usefullness. |

One thing that is turning up now with the guys who were right into supplements, has been all sort of weird hormone imbalances and that sort of thing, low testosterone, high estrogen, low energy levels, depression, chemical imbalances, all kinds of weird stuff I have no fn idea about, plus the usual joint and ligament damage. Yet us boring normal blokes who prefer to get our protein from a huge slab of fish or steak and try to eat a balanced diet don't seem to have this odd shit happening. I have no idea if related, but I think there needs to be a bit more of an investigation into the long term affects of taking supplements. The last 10 years have seen a huge spike the the popularity, variety and availabilty of this sort of stuff and it shows no signs of slowing. Apart from the cost, how much sugar in its various forms do these things have in them?it can't be good in the longterm. I have no idea about the science behind it and would be happy to be corrected, but faced with the option of a protein shake or a 400gm slab of thai chilli snapper and salad its a no brainer for me personally Totally agree there, Give me food any day over supplements. My lunch atm, big Garden salad topped off with a tin of tuna in srpingwater |

Veek, a protein supplement will do nothing to you hormonally. It will just make you poo. That said, as I said earlier, almost no one needs any of it. Unless you are skipping meals when working out, it's not going to help 90% of people. Just wasted money. Same goes for vitamins. Unless you have been diagnosed (by a proper doctor, not a naturopath) with a deficiency in something, you will get no benefit. Just expensive pee. |

I have no idea about the science behind it and would be happy to be corrected, but faced with the option of a protein shake or a 400gm slab of thai chilli snapper and salad its a no brainer for me personally have definitely seen that, guys who I consider to be big, and i'm lifting more than them. not that I consider that i'm anything special. I see plenty of guys who lift three times more than me. but these are guys who've been making the right decision health wise for a long time, in eating nutritionally healthy meals and know how to target their training correctly, which i'm still learning. I still squeak if I turn sideways / only been going actively for just over 18 months now. Veek, a protein supplement will do nothing to you hormonally. It will just make you poo. I look at it, that I just need time and repetitions to achieve the results that i'm after. i'm pretty much at the point now where i'm just looking to stabilise my weight and eat a healthy balanced diet, though i'm happy to experiment somewhat focusing more to eating meals that and leaner whilst also having increased protein benefits. and if supplements can aid in that then i'll incorporate them occasionally. |
