Exhaust: Stock apart from extractors
Suspension: Stock
Wheels: 12 Slotters, tyres: 235/65 14
Modifications: None
Stereo Audio / Visual: Stock
Estimated Power: 140kw @ 4500rpm (when new)
Interior Velour seats, doortrim, centre console...

This is my new project, inherited this of my father when he died very recently, no big plans for it, has been sitting up in the backyard for a fair while, with a bit of tlc it would be a beautiful car again, only has 135 XXX original kms

Dad bought this off the showroom floor,

Plan to put the original front bumper back on, lower it a tad, touch the paint work up, and just keep it as a nice cruiser...

Will add progress pics to this thread...

Looking pretty rough for 135XXX kays.

Good, thoughtful project. You don't see these around anymore.

    Not bad at all...

    really needs a clean up.

has more sentimental value to you, so good to see your restoring it and keep it.

Yeah sadly it does look pretty rough at the moment, but with a good wash, polish and general clean up it would look alot better...

Its sat in that spot for a very long time...

Honestly its not going to take to much work, the pictures make it look worse then it is, going to try and find the keys to it and fire it up and move it so i can give it a good scrub...

Cheers mate... did you check out that Ford Forum?

Thought i would add some updated pics...

The first lot of pics were when i very first inherited it, didn't have the keys or anything... Once i got the keys, gave her some fresh fuel and oil, checked all the the leads and plugs, new battery and turned the key, after sitting for nearly 2 years she fired up pretty easy, moved here down the yard, gave her a well earned Tub and removed the Bullbar and put the original bumper back on...

After giving her a wash, i parked it up under cover until i could get a hold of a decent car trailer to take her home to Newcastle...

Once it got her back to Newy i decided to remove ugly as ass Air con from the engine bay...

Work on the old girl stopped for a while due to work being stupidly busy, then i got offered a better paying Managers job, so had to move again, so loaded her up and off i went, now having a bette paying job, and more time on my hands ive been able to do more work on her...

Started by stripping the front and repainting the front apron, removing parts off the engine to either be replaced or cleaned up and painted, as well as ordering parts...
