Managed to get a perfect copy of Flight so I just watched that. It was good but had nothing on Django.

I rather enjoyed Django Unchained. Brilliant movie imo. I laughed quite often, something more and more movies fail to be able to do. The entire cast was brilliantly picked imo. And the score was quite well done. Although I found the excessive use of blood quite illogical it also made for alot of the laughter. The use of the word nigger, I have never come across a movie that used it so much. I had a friend with me who got a bit uncomfortable at the use of the word, however.

HAHA yeah I think it was used over 100 times. Obviously got the reaction he wanted. I loved seeing a familiar Australian face, John Jarrett, while Tarantino did possibly the worst Australian accent I have ever heard.

When i asked my mum why they had waited until late last night to start moving items/evacuation, she said

"oh but when they bought the property they said its only in a 1 in a 100 year flood area, and that one happened in 2011"

Anyway. Would areas flood a lot easier after the major landscape changes that the last flood brought on?

Surely floodplain areas must have shifted in some way, large sections of creeks/rivers in different locations after recent events etc
