Wired in a 12v accessory plug to the boot area of the wagon.

Now, question. Does anybody know a way to convert the 12v plug in a VZ centre console from acc power to constant power?

Ran a can of upper engine cleaner through then did a oil and filter change..

I highly recommend upper engine cleaner (subaru and ford use it) makes such a difference to idle and general running. Its the first time ive used it first hand on my car. It cleans so much shit out, car spits out all sorts of gunk :). Cost me like 14 bucks a can. I'm planning to give it anther can in a couple of thousand k's.

Next step is brake pads and cv boots. Boots are perished and old (10yo car)

Okay, so in addition to the 12v acc power lead I added yesterday, I now also have 12v constant power wired direct to the battery in the boot of the wagon. My first time doing something like that by myself, and nothing has blown up or caught fire.....yet.

Hope you put a fuse on it...

Removed the front struts, discs and swaybar in the Commodore. Bought replacements for the weekend.

Swaybars are fucking pricks of things.

Uh run a line straight from your battery or just hook onto the same line that your headunit would use. But you'd want to be careful what you leave plugged in as you might drain the battery easily if you forgot something plugged in.

Sold nearly everything on my car in 2 days, so I started pulling stuff out of the engine bay and removed my rear diffuser for a local pick-up.

Just saying, i know of someone who almost set their Commodore on fire doing the same thing :mamoru:

Chucked the new struts in, plus an exhaust, plus new sway bar bushings.

Just gotta chuck the rotors back on and bleed the lines and then hopefully the pig is registrable.

Moved it around in the shed, to get ready for body work and paint

Intake and Exhaust Valves arrived, as well as my 1200cc Injectors ( e85 ^_^ )

Block is in getting Machined, Heads got dropped off to be worked on

and new Steering wheel is on :)
