Removed intake manifold to replaced a fucked valley gasket. Found an extremely dirty throttle body, black as fuck.

Poor old thing has done that many K's, yet still runs fine.

Adjusted the Whiteline rear swaybar on the missus SH FozXT, she has an enjoyable tight rear end :wiggle:
Did yet another flash tune on the poor car, to adjust WGDC as now after 18psi peak boost and tapering off to 15psi by 4800rpm, then 12psi by 6800rpm, still on the stock subaru exhaust :dancingcool:

Pulsar is at home in the garage again... starter motor failed so pulled it out(10x easier to remove than an SR20 starter motor!) but it is an imported 6 speed box and nobody in Australia stocks this model starter motor. Hoping to patch it up with parts from auto elecs this week as having trouble finding one in the USA as well :(

^ Its a VQ35 isn't it?
I would of though the starter would of been the same as a local 350Z here?

Unfortunately, Nissan changed the design for the FWD's due to the casing being diffeent, the solenoid is diff and the internals of the FWD has a longer shaft. Even the local Maxima has a different starter motor since they are all CVT autos although this will be the first thing I look at using the check parts :(

You wasted your time getting a trade plate, since you can legally drive to a place to get a RWC as long as you have CTP.

If not, if you can gimmie a part number, some specs on the unit (measurements, no of teeth, etc.) or a pic I might be able to cross something over.

Thanks :)

Completely different though. If you look at that RH end pic, the starter solenoid is actually at about the 8.30 clock position, not at 12 oclock and there is cutouts for the bellhousing bolts

Nissan Part number is: 23300 8J115
Looks like this:

According to this site, it is the only car it was used on.

However, maybe brushes and solenoids are interchangeable with the one you listed, as the overall body length is correct.

It's actually out of a late model GTS Commodore, it's fucking huge.

As you can see the mounting brackets are hanging below the bumper, it the top sits snug next to the radiator support.

Might do a HSV logo, not sure yet but i'll stencil it up and see if it looks tacky or not.
