Plenty of places can get the Sucrogen E85. I know both Mark at Godzilla motorsports and Tyres and More at Albion can.

can any one briefly explain why CSR is nearly twice the price of the e-flex options?
i know they use 98 octane in the mix but surely that wouldn't drive the cost up that far?

I buy mine (not called e85, its called BioFlex and its 70-85% ethenol) from the caltex on Mt Gravatt Capalaba rd - McKenzie (as someone stated above). It is nomrally about $1.30/L and I run it in my rotor, its fine. Allows me to run 30+ psi around on the street. My tuner, Craig, said in his experience it does the job fine and theres no point getting the more expensive stuff in big drums - however everyone has their own opinion and I respect that. Just go to caltex website and you can see where they sell it. Prob worth always having a 20L backup can full at home too... goodluck

because its a controlled alcahol amount

off the pump alcahol levels vary up to 40 percent , with barrell fuel it is allways maintained at 85% or 90% depending on which mix you want

United Petroleum sells E85. It does not vary in ethanol content from season to season, it is always maintained at the 85%. I have confirmed this with United Petroleum myself. The only place it is currently available in QLD is in Warwick, though they are looking at rolling it out in a few locations in Brisbane over the coming months. The last time I bought some (about 10 days ago) it was circa $1.41 per litre.
