No I don't actually, and I'm sure there was a time when you didn't either so maybe help me out and explain rather than write that? In between the flywheel and the tyres (or dyno) there is a loss of power through the drivetrain.. Vehicle manufacturers nearly always quote flywheel figures to make it sound faster (I guess). For example a wrx is quoted as 160kw, because the Car is 4wd theres a lot more losses, usually they put out 110-115kw at the wheels. The reason vn commodores are so powerful is only one wheel is being driven by the motor (half the effort of turning two wheels, double the power output). Noobs who weld their diffs are halving the power being put down. Troll face.jpg |
