Boss_Xr
Post #6375

Yeah mate, tbh i got them on the car you'd probably know more than me, all I know is its a boss off-road and they drive more like a car on road than any other fourby ive been in before

Edit: Pretty sure they are 7" shocks

I have some rust issues to sort out lol

Started cutting and making new sections up for it.

From what me and the old man have found it looks as though its been rolled over once before and really dodgy fixed hence all the rust, some of the pics there show big chunks of old bog from when it was previously repaired. lol i have a fair bit of work ahead of me. Then we need to start on the old man's roof (can see it in one the pics in the background)

jeffros ... nice clean cruiser mate thumbsup.gif

tuff33 ... the e bay winches only have a 1yr warranty and when they break you have to pay to post it back .

the aldi ones $350 3yrs replacement warranty. and they come with a spare parts order list where alot of cheap ones you cant get parts for them after your warranty runs out .

been a while since i posted here.

got some new rims for the hilux, used to run 15*10 rims with 33 *12.5 cooper st's.

Was looking for a change so got some Mickey Thompson Classic beadlock - 16*8's - with STT coopers.

I found dropping the rim width and tyre size alot better for everyday driving, and hasnt affected off road too much.

But like we all get with our cars, looking at different rims again - maybe just some sunny's with a bigger offset. Looking @ getting a tube bar for the front - don't know whether to get one made or just buy a xrox.
