wanting to fit my forward facing plenum to my rb25, question is will it run the same/better/at all if i put it on with the stock ecu?
also going to put 3 inch cold side pipeing on it to suit the extra flow.

just dont want to fit it and have it running like a dog till i can aford the ecu.

It won't run 100% however will still run. The factory ECU will compensate for the change in airflow however you may find it will run a little bit richer.

A retune is definetely something that needs to be done to get the benefits of changing to a different plenum.

3" piping isn't something you really need and definetely don't need if you are still running the stock throttle body (as the smallest point will still be the throttle).

What one did you go anyway? Greddy, Plazmaman etc?

got a greddy one and the 80mm throttle body, hence the 3 inch cold side pipe.
