Some young lady today in a toyota landcruise coming out from kallangur shell servo i went to take out in the first lane. Then all of a sudden without warning she just changes lane without indicating, I slam my my brakes on and so does she.

Then she winds her window down abusing me and threating to run me over and smash into my car and she's calling the cops. I was like wow. City people with 4wd's don't mix lol I felt offended. I done nothing worng, she didn't indicate and was looking to see if car's where pulling out up in front of her.

Saw a ambo coming up behind me, merged to the left. Ambo passed me and waited behind this BMW lights flashing bells ringing. about 15 seconds later BMW notices, flicks indicator on and immediately without looking merges to the left almost wiping out the landcruiser next to her (landcruiser had to swerve out of her her, resulting in mass body roll at 110kmh), no wonder there are so many fatel accidents. lolwut. That's the kind of parking that prompts a key-ing. We had some knobjockey who kept parking his Patrol about 1m over our driveway at work. It's a crap road at the best of times, but when he parks there, you can't see *anything* coming toward you. Plus the fact that he was parking over our driveway. Council called multiple times to tow him, and they never turned up before he had finished for the day and left. His car got keyed a few times before he finally stopped parking there.

What: Looked like drink driving and if not he was about 50years too old to have a licence. He stopped at some roadworks because he couldn't work out how to go through a clear passage marked by traffic cones only to move when yelled at by road workers, then almost hit a parked truck on the northern end of melton road. Mounted the island in the middle of sandgate road. Stopped at a red light with his car fully in the intersection anyway and then turned 90degree corner doing about 50km/hr and almost lost it into the sidewalk again.
Made me and a friend almost sick just watching it thinking he was going to kill himself.

same story for me too. instead of flat battery, my intake pipe fell off. so when i tried to start it, i assumed it was out of petrol cause it always conked out. trying push the car up the kerb, the car behind me just sitting there full of people. cant even get out and help. eventually this red p plater in a woolies uniform pulls up and asks me what th ego is. and helps me push the sucker up onto the kerb.

I completely agree, i may have learnt to drive in queensland but i have been taught by people who actually know how to drive (they learnt in NSW back in the day LOL ) so all this is still annoying, qld has got to be one of the scariest places to drive, i also agree P platers need to be educated better on how to handle an out of control car aswell, i had the luxury of owning a paddock basher and had plenty of loose's in it so now im on my P's and i have been in a few situations where knowing that has come in handy.

One thing that seems to be uniform with all drivers in Brisbane is the lack of merging skills, and the obscenely intricate places car manufacturers are regulated to locate the indicator stalk stick in all vehicles imported to Brisbane.

And when they do find it, they're already turning the corner. I think there's just a misunderstanding about the term indicate we should clear up. INDICATE means to let others know where you intend to go, not to indicate that you're in the process of abruptly veering off the road!

Following too closely, sudden lane changes without indicating, then having the nerve to raise his hands in frustration when someone in front of him at a roundabout slowed down to make sure it was clear; immediately after said Pathfinder-douche cut from one lane to the other without indicating, in small gaps, nearly causing someone to run up the back of him.

I'll admit I fucked up today, a total lapse of concentration lead me to slam my brakes on to avoid hitting another car, so I'm dobbing myself in... I was merging onto Old Cleveland Road from the Gateway offramp when I was just smooth sailing, going 80km/h coming up to the merge when I realised that a silver BMW was going exactly the same speed as me causing me to almost merge into it. After doing a last minute shoulder check and realising the BMW was right there, I had no choice but to slam the brakes on and and nip in behind him... I was actually quite pissed at myself, like "what the fuck just happend", I'm normally so conscious of my surroundings while driving and I'm usually the other guy raging at the dumb shit not knowing how to merge!

On another note, what is it with slow take-offs from traffic lights? I was in the left lane behind a Barina, there was a truck in the right lane so I thought that surely the Barina would be the faster option. I was wrong, the truck got almost a full car's length in front of the Barina when the lights turned green and holy fucking frustration, I almost turned into the Hulk.

go and have a look at the driveways he has auto roller door i jumped out of the truck by the time the truck pulled up i put the hand brake on he was just inside his garage still in his car closing the door hand out the window giving me the finger yelling out abuse while his roller door was closing and i was only doing about 50k as i just came over the top of a hill.you've obviously never tried to pull up a semi trailer in a small distance.come out with me for a day and see some of the shit us truck drivers have to put up with from stupid drivers that think we can pull up a truck in the same distance as a car.
