thanks chris, but I'm not going to make it. I'll aim to get there next week with a running electric car to play with anyway, and the nitro car to try and figure out.

I have been given another nitro car. It has run in the past but I can't get it started again. It is a great vigor and has an OS 15CV engine.

The glow plug glows, but that is about it. I've done the needle screw right in and then opened it 2 turns as per the instructions.

Has anyone got any tips on how to get it to run?

on a serious note have you counted how many times it take to screw the needle right in. the screw ,might be too far in and starving the engine of fuel

i would count how many times it take to screw the needle right

then maybe only back it off one turn off with the needle being fully out

I found the instructions for it on the OS engines site. It says to screw it in til it stops and then back it out 2.5 turns. I don't know if i've screwed it in too far though, and squashed the o ring.

hey

if this buggy was given to you have you checked if there any air leaks or blockages with the fuel hose apart from that not sure what it could be

esp if second hand buggy could be lot of things don't know enough about nitro engines maybe a few on this site who do could give some more advice

i've been practicing my helicopter flying. got a coaxial twister bell 47 for free that just needed a battery. I need to find a bigger sheltered space to practice though. the backyard isn't quite enough and I keep ending up in the mulch pile. or catching it in my hand before i remove my face! Good fun. A bit different to the little tine ones i've place with.

pffft. you only wish you could drink like me.

on another note..... the truck is now 100% race ready and the buggies are now getting attention. 1 of the losi's will be for sale soon if anyone is keen to give racing a go.
i'll only sell it if you turn up to OCR at least once and give it a go though

I haven't got a big enough indoors. Might have to try in one of the halls at church.
