The couple of grand you spend on it chasing power na, and you'll still get left behind by a late model v8 which forfeits your small price difference in rego, plus tuned ls motors are consistently returning better fuel usage than the v6s. Don't waste your money na, boost is your friend, pro flow fabrications are seeing 300rwkw on standard alloytec with there turbo kits! Or raptor do fairly cheap blower kits for the alloytec now aswell |

go a capa supercharger mate, so long as your services have been reasonably regular, you should be able to get decent power figures on low to moderate boost. remember though its an all alloy engine, and they arent all that solid, ive worked with holden for 10 years, and know for a fact that if you abuse them, they will break. and when they do, you may as well throw the engine in the bin and buy another one. cant buy standard parts for them, and a rebuild for an alloytec usually starts at about 7 grand. |

270rwKw and better fuel economy in a VZ SS with just a $500 ECU mail order flash tune for the small difference in rego... and you think $7K to make 200rwKw is a good idea? The V8 will also get 30% better fuel economy as well... |

Is NOT going to happen with your alloytec. The cheapest mods you can do with the most power. FULL exhaust, CAI, high flow filter. |

As stated above, you want to spend 7K on a 6 just to bring it into alignment with an 8 because of rego? |
