Im currently driving a 3l diesel non-turbo 99 extra cab 4x4 and am looking to upgrade to a later model with the newer front end but same general shape. Looking on the net at the 2004ish models the 3.4 seems like a good sized engine. Has anyone had any experiences with this enginge paired with the 5 speed manual? Fuel wise and power wise? Troubles? Any help would be great thanks . Oh also my main reason for getting rid of the diesel is i do a fair bit of highway driving and it uses a shit load of juice and doesnt even sit on 100 going through some slight hills This post has been edited by cobber: Jun 30 2011, 02:53 AM -------------------- signature

The 3L shouldn't use a huge amount of fuel, certainly a vast amount less than the 3.4, this threads the first time iv heard of someone wanting to go from diesel to petrol for economy reasons. |
