Hey Guys, Thinking about putting a new engine in my luxy, What options do i have? has to be N/a

Dunno, But thinking Ecotec,1jz? no idea, What would be cheapest and easiest?

Just curious why you want to stick with N/A? You can also throw in a Toyota 4L V8.

Lol, Im on my L's at the moment. But as soon as i get on my P's ill be a sick p plater and i will wannna beat sick commos and shit.

School holidays. Yay.

You cant do shit to your Hilux. The most work you're going to do in that engine bay that is legal, is clean it, do an oil change, maybe change its plugs once.

No fuckstain, he is on his Learners, going onto his Provisionals. It is NOT legal for a P-plater to drive a vehicle requires a mod plate for engine work (e.g. engine swap unless it came as an option from factory). He wants to put a fucking Buick donk or a 1J into his Hilux, which would be perfectly fine IF he was on his open license.

Think that's why he was calling you stupid. Maybe if it wasn't clearly written in the legislation (which is available online mind you) and the countless threads per week on this topic, then maybe, we could understand why you didn't know.

wow thanks for the info guys, i changed my 2.8deisel to a 3rz in my 4by lux when i was on my green Ps, (now on opens) the queensland transport said nothing about me being a P plater, and when i got defected on my steering by a DOT officer he said nothing about being on my Ps and having a engine conversion.

i guess it come down to whos approving it and how badly DOT wants to Fark u
