Probably a dozen or more on ls1.com.au, some as low as 13.6-13.7.

It's funny to see everyone going nah that can't be right when independant testing has proved that the figures are right. Yeah sure most people aren't going to do 0-100 in 6.5 seconds in a VE SV6 but it has been proved that it can do that time. If you want to know how quickly it will go with a p plater driving and 4 flat cap passengers and a full tank of fuel then the answer is a pineapple but in ideal conditions these things are quick.

Maybe Holden did a Ferrari and would only let the independent tests take place if they could supply two cars, a laptop and a team of engineers.

1660kg car with 210kw gives a rough ET of 14.4-14.5. Obviously other factors need to be taken into consideration but I'd say the quoted figures are spot on.

Mid 7 would be about right for a VE SV6. Considering a stock N14 Pulsar SSS pulled a mid 8 for 0-100km/h(104Kw in a 1100Kg chassis)

They only have test cars for a very short space of time and are stuck with whatever weather conditions they get, with unlimited access to the cars and perfect conditions they would go quicker than the quoted times.

I've seen heapss of stock VY HSV's run 13's.

Fixed.
Of course, a Mafless tuned VY SS(or HSV for that matter) will run a low 13 or high 12.

My VZ does it in 7.8 secs. the SV6 is half a sec faster. On JC they claim 7.0 - 7.5 on the SV6's

With a full tank, no passengers, not the greatest track, my SV6 hits 7.5/7.6 so with a better driver under better conditions I have no doubt it's make high 6

Factor in Fuel/Driver and your looking more like 1800kg, which pushes ET out roughly 0.3 sec
