Hmmmmmmm I dunno, it doesn't really fit the exaaaaact same thing I'd imagine which would be like a mimic of the afternoon sun style.. Your almost there it just isn't high-key enough I think. Needs a lens flare or something haha

It's just probably that image, I'd like to see the sun beaming through her hair, but it isn't happening, and there's no flash-head doing it either.. It leaves me longing Dion. Longing.

Couple curves (one for colour) lens flare and a HP to get some contrast back..

That's what I'd be wanting to see. It's still a well taken image do not get me wrong there, it just needs that little extra bit of sommin' sommin' to make it awesome. Not that my edit is this, it's just what seems to fill a void i feel, way deep down in the cavities of my heart and SOUL. MY SOUL DION.

Like the headshot, not so keen on the cookie crumb make-up around the eyes, doesn't seem to be sharp.. the image is though! BIGGER.

Went to the annual Abbey Medieval Festival on Saturday (it's a 2 day event) and I was surprised at how many people actually dressed up for this. Really packed too! Something for everyone, backsmithing, falconry, sword play, jousting, medieval female hygiene (no joke), surgery, coin making and a few other things. Here's some pics from the event. Enjoy!

1. Morning parade. Everyone was dressed up for battle.


2. Various knights helmets on display.


3. Falconry guy with a trained owl. Yes, he had falcons/hawks too biggrin.gif


4. It's a baby...isn't it cute? It didn't mind the crowds, all puffed up due to the cold.


5. Blacksmithing - put the work in the fire, cover with coals and start pumping the bellows to get the heat up. Not sure what he was making, but it looked like pretty hard work.


6. One of the band members taking a swig. Curses to the guy just coming in frame holding a coffee cup!


7. Gypsy dancing display.


8. Bring it on! Solid wooden poles with steel tips.


9. Post-impact. If you look close, you can see some wooden splinters and half the pole broken. Yellow knight took the hit, but missed his own target.


10. Knights congratulating each other. Blue knight gave Yellow knight all his points due to yellow taking a hit to the face.


11. Swordsman post battle.


12. Coin stamping.

I didn't go to that, but when I walked past they had henna tattoos in there. So I wasn't sure what the whole thing was about.

It's been a while, you pack of degenerates.. biggrin.gif I've been out n about at some events...here's the stuff:

Mopar Madness
Had a great Saturday at QR with the Mopar crazies. Some of these cars were just restorations with no modifications and some where just out of this world. Props goes to the guy that wanted to win, leaning his car out too much and popping a hole in piston head 7. This was also my first attempt at panning high speed ALSO running James Dean's 400mm prime (Thanks JD for the lend) Anywho, on with the show:

Then, the following week I went with Evaded up to Morgan Park Raceway at Warwick for the testing day of the Shannons Nationals. They had EVERYTHING there. I still struggled with panning high speed cars. It's an artform that needs to be mastered!

So I learned a lot. Panning is hard. As a beginner, I was getting a 1 in 6 ratio of hit n miss. I need more memory cards when I go to the track. And lastly, I love female racers biggrin.gif
