Still I'm in no rush, i'll be getting the 1.4 at payday on the 15th regardless so take it or leave it Ben. Ha who's in power now?! Was actually thinking of keeping it for "studio" work as it's sharper than the 1.4 until like f/11 I was reading the other night and I shoot around f/8. |

Man that guys studio is seriously unreal. You know those industrial places that are ummm 10m wide, 25m deep and usually has 2 levels? I found a studio that is built in one of those with a cyclorama built in at the back - they want $500 for 8 hours...8 HOURS! I'd be bringing my own lighting and such...fuck they want a bit. lol. |

Yeah that's a huge space though, cyclorama isn't a big deal - they'd all or 99.9% have them. I've toyed about with hiring somewhere in Brisbane and running a studio, most just have like an elinchrom 2 head pack and a cyc. tea coffe, sorted. $100 for an hour and discount from there. Simple maths depending on your rent then on your popularity. |

Dude, i work fulltime-and-a-half day job, I get home after sunset and leave home at 7:30, I wish I had some time to put in effort. I also don't work in an office so 'lunchtime' shots aren't really possible, plus I'm so busy I rarely get a lunch break let alone any break during the day so it's kinda hard for me hence why a lot of my stuff is simple and lit in my house. It isn't an excuse, it's just a fact. |
