Hey guys, Bought a Nistune ECU the other day and downloaded the program but cannot use it as I dont have a license key. Now I am not trying to be a tightass but I cant even find a place where I can buy a key from? I had a close look on their website but had no luck. Could anyone point me in the right direction where I can get a license key from so I can use the program? Thanks ![]() -------------------- ---- |||| '00 Suzuki GSXR 750 |||| ----

^^ You missed the bit about OP being a tightass? Do you think he is going to get it tuned somewhere on that sort of budget? |

Thanks for the replies. I am not a tightass just couldnt find out where I can get a key from. Do you reckon its worth getting a key and trying to tune it yourself or should I just bring it to someone? |

Thanks for the replies. I am not a tightass just couldnt find out where I can get a key from. Do you reckon its worth getting a key and trying to tune it yourself or should I just bring it to someone? Do you know ANYTHING about tuning cars ie adjusting fuel maps etc etc? Do you have access to and know how to use a dyno? If the answer is no to either, then you should definately NOT try and tune if yourself. Chances are you will fuck shit up and ruin your motor. Take it to someone who knows what they're doing. |

Even if you know what you're doing, you'd need a wideband sensor and preferably a dyno to do it properly. Depends whether you're planning on making it a habit. For a once off it will be cheaper to get a pro to tune it, and you'll definitely get better results. But if you want to learn its gotta start somewhere. |

I wouldn't even dick around with the maps AFTER you had it tuned. Tuning on that level is very unforgiving if you have no idea what you're doing. Leave this one to the professionals. |
