Can anyone recommend a workshop that does performance work / tuning for the M3? Or just does european cars in general? I need someone that can handle some basic bolt on work, an ECU software flash or piggyback upgrade and tuning.

they specialize in porsche but they will do work on a lot of euro stuff. might be more suited for older cars, however can't hurt to give them a ring (they probably know a BMW specialist hey)

I know there is a crowd down in Coorparoo/the Gabba that work on BMW.

Also maybe try Harding Performance.

I found Harding very good to deal with when I was working at Skoda.
