I am trying to find a dual cab ute, looking at hilux's and mazda utes. being a toyota i know the motor will be reliable. just wondering about the mazda engine? what are they like on parts/fuel/ reliability -------------------- yeah ;) Ima maaaad dawg.

Get the Mazda with a LPG conversion, you will like it and you will have awesome fuel economy. I had the same. Was a good ute and on lpg I got 500klms for $38 bucks. I'd skip the bravo though peronally and get a BT50. I've got a 2.5L turbo diesel 09 model and it's got heaps of torque and gets 7-800klms from the tank. |

From what I've seen I'd say they are every bit as bulletproof as hilux's. My mates got one with 590,000kms on the odo and its still going strong, he picked it up dirt cheap with no logbooks or service history, so who knows how it was looked after but either way I'd definately say they are pretty tough. |
