Just in reference to both this comment and your pm:

Yes.

Ps: you posted a car question in the 4X4 and utes section, perhaps off topic would be a better place next time, just some handy information, that's all.

S13 is the series Like the 'VE' in Commodore

The 180sx is the hatch

the silvia is the coupe/sedan

sil80 is a silvia front on a 180

onevia is a 180 front on a silvia

The S13's and 180sx's have same engines.

Ok here it is in all honesty. The differences between a silvia and a 180sx are absolutely nothing except for aesthetics. Until you start talking about type x's in which case slight changes to motor ( i think or maybe it just has a blacktop i know it doesnt have vct) maybe slightly updated brakes and the type x interior

Why doesnt he know what he is talking about? As far as I know they have the same chassis, drivetrain and motor, so are far as I can tell it is just aesthetic differences. What else is there??

Theonly real difference 180SX had an optional 2JZ from factory, though this is quite rare. FInding a 180SXJ is hard as there arent many around.

Thanks, Geoff.

but seriously.... same chassis, dash, suspension, etc

Silvia has fixed lights VS 180sx has popup lights
Silvia is a coupe with bootlid VS 180sx Hatchback (fastback)

Silvias (88-93) came with CA18DE, CA18DET, SR20DE, SR20DET aswell as KA motors on USDM ones etc.
180sx's (89-98) came with CA18DET, SR20DE, SR20DET (Both red and Blacktop)

Silvias were J's, Q's, K's and A's (aswell as club and diamond variations)
180sx's were type 1, type 2, Type R, Type X, Type S, Type G

For Silvias, Chassis Codes were (excluding USDM) S13, KS13, KPS13, PS13
For 180sx's Chassis Codes were (Excluding USDM) KRS13, RS13, KRPS13, RPS13

A Quick search on NISSAN FAST software with your VIN, will also tell you what type your vehicle is and what it had.

There is a La Bomba edition Nissan Silvia PS13 made in 1992.

The La Bomba edition Silvia s13 has the following differences over a normal Silvia-

-RB28DETT with 2.1 Bar of Boost with a range of top of the line jap parts producing 920Hp.
- Brembo Brakes
- Nismo Racing Rims 17 inch.

And a whole other range of mods.

Was $200,000 and only one ever made.

neither both are getting to be to old and the majority of them thrashed, don't get me wrong a 180 does look quite nice with tasteful mods.
