It sounds/goes alright for a dirty old NA bottom end i guess. Dunno about the best sounding though, i reckon there's a few which would put up quiet a challenge.

Yeah dude when yours opens up on the screamer its sick. No other import motor beats a 2j on screamer for sound.

spotted a bionic blue single cab hilux at harvey normans on sunday. shaved, red interior, the number plate SLOLUX was in the tailgate and it was notched on 20s... wouldnt mind finding out who owns this cause it was up for sale a little while ago (i didnt realise it was notched) wanna have a chat to see if its engineered and how he went about it.

also spotted an orange over black space cab hilux cruising along cavenagh street... doesnt look too bad, definately needs to be lowered. ALOT!

More than likely bought up from interstate.

Hard to get notches engineered up here but for some reason interstate plated cars pass.

Even if they have been done in someones backyard....

Chassis clips on the other hand pass piece of piss.

when i first moved up here it was forsale on carsales under the same rego, and from what i can tell has been here for a little while, unless he's just slipped under the radar with the notch?

also, rear clips, whole rear clips are able to be passed? easier than a notch?? very interesting :)

if they are engineered and have an engineers approval yes they will be passed. go see the boys(matt and mick) at custom fabrications (toupien rd yarrawonga) as they are doing one at the moment (on a one tonner, definitely not a mini-truck)

Spotted a 2 tone ute. Red upper, black lower and some sweet angle mounted tail lights.

Also seen a black honda civic hatch "Shadow".

bob - i've been seeing that around too, its a 2000ish shape hilux? orangey-red on top... he just needs to lower it now, doesnt look too bad!

Yeah it looks pretty good. Definitely lowered preferably on airbags.

The max power was 176Kw at the wheels then dave wound it back for me to around 160-165kw.

Always keen for a cruise. Can only do Friday nights and weekends at the moment though. Work commitments and all.

Spotted yet another VG pacer hardtop yesterday. Def a genuine one this time, arctic white, bonnet black outs and stripes about 90% finished at a mates warehouse. Also two genuine E49 chargers.. one a super rare 1 of 4 VJ in sunfire yellow.. also about 90% done. Zapp will know where I was.....

Almost makes me want to hook back into mine.

Good power figure mate. Glad dave sorted it out. What was the problem in the end mate.

Always up for a boosted cruise but not until after november to much work on at the moment and the Micra is going back into Dave's on the 14th Novemeber i get it back around the 30th.

The problem was the Tuner in Townsville was a moron and after telling me he hadnt touched the computer, Dave found out that he had and messed things up real good. Dave set all the parameters correctly and got it going well. Over all power was just a minor perk of the NIStune. The car is so much more responsive, boost comes on earlier and stronger, power curve is nice and liner and the car runs so much better then it ever has.

Dave is a magician.
