might as well kiss good bye the motorsport world and auto industry if Abbott and his clowns get in on Saturday... Bright sparks plan on pulling $6.2 billion worth of funding from the industry.. Bye Ford, Bye Holden, Bye Toyota, Bye the massive flow on effects in the indutry this will have.... To mention a few - most of the major tyre shops will struggle, transport companies both sea, rail and road will suffer, component shops will struggle or close down, spare parts manufacturers will struggle or close... V8 Supercars will prob end, the motorsport world including burnouts and drag racing will be crippled.... The effects of this will be HUGE!! Yep my passion and no doubt yours will be destroyed because of this raving loooney who knows nothing about how important this industry is... ![]() So now we can breathe a little better now that we have the first PM that was NOT voted in by the austrlian public, but voted in by 2 so called indepentants....and "most of the major tyre shops will struggle, transport companies both sea, rail and road will suffer, component shops will struggle or close down, spare parts manufacturers will struggle or close... V8 Supercars will prob end, the motorsport world including burnouts and drag racing will be crippled...." will all be just fine.....just as long as you are not in the mining sector! ![]() But on another note, jst had our first visit to a mates new house that he got the keys for today...address is #34...you can guess the rest ![]() |

From what i heard Abbot was going to bring back work choice shit, make religion a must in schools and also something else to do with the work force. His budget was 11 billion out of whack which he refused to show the independants. ![]() |

I think it'll be a lot harder for labour to spend spend spend this time Lars. I'm looking forward to 3 years of not a whole lot happening. In regards to who the majority voted for, I think its pretty clear that no-one really wanted either of the major parties.. which is why its ended up in the hands of the independants- I know I put both major paries last on my ballot papers. The libs may well look after the top end of town and the gernal economy better, but its often at the expense of the grass roots of any country which is health and eductaion, we need labour to spend in these areas to make up for the previous Liberal govt who focus was not on these primary issues. Its all part of the ebb and flow of Australian politics. Once health and education improves we will have the workforce needed for the next liberal govt focus on economy. |

O wells here to more debt! Only thing labours good at! Spend spend spend debt debt debt! HAHAHAHAHAHA More debt my arse. They cant spend like they did. Are you forgetting what Howard did to the country. Pffft Fuck them I am with Mel on this one not to mention i am pretty sure it was Labour that gave the cash for all the motorsport upgrades not the Libs. Either way i am happy Gillard got in. You say Labour will spend spend spend but Abbot before he even got in was 11 billion dollars behind the ball and he himself did not even know there was a issue with it. When asked about it he could not explain it. Abbot is no good for this country. I have no problems with the rest of the party. I think The tart face bitch Griggs will do better/more then Hale ever did but thats not to say the rest of the Govt will be as good. The money that Abbot could not account for was a big point to my vote, The religion in school was bullshit. I personally would not force my children to do RI, the internet connection he was going to scrap that was already started. So much he did wrong. |

I'm having trouble understanding it. House of Representatives National Two Party Preferred Result Australian Labor Party 5,859,129 Liberal/National Coalition 5,859,091 Or if you are referring to the first preference votes, it all comes down to electoral distribution. Liberal might have got more votes overall, but they might have all been landslides in individual electorates. Check out the breakdown by polling places for Solomon for example. Most of the Northern suburbs polling places gave it to Labor, whereas the Palmerston polling places were Liberal. |
