Hey guys - as topic states.
I am a ford guy really, but have got myself a VT and was wondering about fitting the VE pursuit wheels (16x7, come with a 225/40 as standard).
Anything required to make these fit?
Cheers

idk about the pursuit's but normal ve wheels you have to bore them out 1,2 mm in the cinter or just get a round file and do it bye hand ll

Touch a wheel with a file and you are a complete fucking moron.
Alloys need to be machined, google it as it's been done many, many a time. Not 100% on Pursuits though.

so the centre hole is smaller in diameter?
are you able to machine that out on a steeliewithout comprimising it?
wgat are the legalities of modifying a rim like this?

Get it done properly by a workshoo, but you could get some VY/VZ 1 Tonner Stocko's as they are 16" and the same stud pattern or just running 15s would be the other option

No, it is illegal to modify steel wheels. Covered a few times before on Holden forums AND if you google, you may even find the after effects of the guy who did it anyway... steel tearinging apart at 3000rpm + bad lol

Thats what i thought. There are guys on here and on ebay selling VE 16x7 steelies 'modified and machined' to suit the earlier models... I figured a pressed steel wheel would definitely lose some integrity once you start removing metal.
