Yep 2'' suspension and 2'' body we got more out of the suspension but i have lowered it back down to almost a normal 2'' suspension lift, If all goes well i will be fitting a 4'' kit to it in a couple of weeks from superior will be sitting 10'' higher then stock ohh yeahh

hello yea its different for sure the bits on the doors were made for roo and emu damange and also if you rub against the trees ive hit quiet a few roos in it and they have done there job very well not a dent as yet the lift is 3" spring lift and 1" shackle lift its a nice ride and a lot smoother.

After selling the Patrol I went for a good 6 months without a 4X4, then the bug hit again....so i picked myself up a little toy to play with.

1.6 EFI conversion
RUF conversion
Shock hoops front and rear
Fox Shocks
6 Point cage
Race seats and harnesses
etc etc...

Next on the list will be lockers.
Keep an eye out in 4wd custom action magazine for NOR011 Patrol as well.

Yeah had a 1HDFT 80 series for a few weeks....didnt really do anything with it at all, only drove it a handfull of times so decided to sell it. Seemed a bit stupid to have that much money tied up in a car that wasnt getting any use. The Zook I can live with because its worth a quarter of what the 80 and GQ were worth..My brother-in-law actually owns NOR011 now. Sports a big ass turbo, water to air intercooler, ARB fridge, drawer set up etc etc...its a weapon now.

Yeah, pretty much keeping it the way it sits now except for some budget lockers (lockrite front and mig rear) Going to be a mega budget toy. Finally got to the stage where spending bucket loads of coin on cars/4x4's doent appeal to me anymore.

It's actually already fitted with fox shocks on the front.

Ignore my arm holding a coin, I sold the BF's that came on it and was giving a tread depth indication.
No idea what brand shocks are in the rear.

That suzuki would have had some money thrown at it, I almost bought that suzuki back in december from a guy in clontarf the guy said it would pass roadworthy took it to my mechanic, the whole front end needed a rebuild the wheels were about to fall off the bearings were that stuffed, all the unis were gone, suspension wasnt modplated, speedo didnt work. in the end my mechanic was digusted the guy thought it would pass, and i didnt buy it. But it was an awesome looking car and i would have loved to own it in better condition. I have to admit I was pretty devistated as it was going to be my first car. And the rear shocks are out of a patrol "for better travel" hence why they are cut through the floor.

A photo of it back in the day

The guy I brought it off has spent some coin on it since then. New wheel bearings front and back, new alternator, new starter motor, timing belt, reco head, rear brakes etc etc..

Speedo works fine. I will start pulling is apart tomorrow and put some new bushes through it. It's all minor stuff anyway....and at the end of the day it's only a Sierra...nothing is really a "big" or expensive job.

It is a tough sierra, in the end iam glad i didnt spend the money on it, and you got yourself a good deal, hope you have some fun with it.
