Haha, it's really, really not a big deal, but to me, havin the same cars, hogging the same spots, week after week, is a little tiring

And I'd be careful where you take up two car park spots fellas, I know someone who routinely did that with their E36 M3. All great until one day they came back to it in a busy carpark vandalised on every panel.

People winging about not being able to get a good carpark up the front because others take it. Did you ever think that mabye thats because the people get there earlier so they don't have to park down in the dark? Get there a little bit earlier and park where ever you want.

i dunno, it's real helpful imo.
i rock up late sometimes and have to park out the back, but then if i see duane/ben/sharpy they will straighten out their car so i can steal the spot next to them.
a lot of nights harry's has the issue of people (usually younger people; in some cases look like mum has left the keys at home and they've all piled into it or something) leaning against cars and stuff... it's simple courtesy, so i can see why they angle park.

besides, my car has fat hips, so..

i agree with jish, i dont park ther cos im a hard @#$!, i like to park there if i can because i get there early and like to have a feed before everyone rocks up, theres no need to be a douche over it chunk, if you can point out where it says HMAS SOARER on the concrete, i will gladly move, and i stongly suggest to anyone who is parked in this guys spot to move because he is obviously cooler than everyone else at harrys and we dont park up there in the light for photos mate people who shoot a harrys will know it produces good shots pretty much wherever the cars are, and if you want to come up with some sort of "better car grading" system you will be parked behind me anyway mate lol, and if you dont believe me we will see what lakeside, QR and willowbank have to say about it.

It's funny because I hate Soarers with a passion, yet if you parked up the front I wouldn't have minded one bit. No matter how much of a piece of shit I think it is. It's modified, it belongs at Harry's.

You've got one of the attitudes that is extremely wrong in the car scene these days. If you don't like my car that's fine, I know plenty of people who do love the old school Jap look.

If better cars want the "good" spot, they'll turn up on time like everyone else does.

we go to these meets to check out the cars, and catch up with people, but when you get ones who have no respect for others property, then you gotta do what you gotta do, to make sure your car leaves looking the same as it drove in

why shouldn't a person be able to enjoy the rewards of all the time and effort they've put into their vehicle without having to worry about their pride and joy being damaged?

i'm not saying that someone would intentially go out of their way to do something, but accidents do happen, and its well within the right of a vehicle owner to take steps to minimise the possibility. if that helps a person towards their enjoyment of the car scene then who are we to judge.

Do you know whats funny, your talking about my car, i parked in 2 spots, because cbf parking in 1 and "hoping" that i dont see the rotor from a few weeks ago with the 3 sluts sitting on it park next to me, its only allocated for 2 car, and i wanna take them so not every panel is "dented" thats up to me, normally i park out the back anyways, but i was there early this week !


BTW, my "stockish" falcon makes more power than yours too (not that im offended, but that it doesnt stand out of the crowd )





As about, and also thats just me, i will park my other P.O.S where i like there as im not so worried!

Considering that I've seen many Soarers around the same price as my '$1500 Corolla' I'm sure we can easily afford one each.

Though I'm fairly sure we'll have trouble only taking up 3 spaces...4-5 seems more likely.
