Nothing wrong with Ripley.. it's actually a great spot.. and then once you get bored.. hit up Swanbank.. some good trails threw there.. no jumps but a good cruise through the bush.. alot of people use it so it's a good place to meet up and have a chat about your bikes.. also has car access.. any car can get in, dont need a 4x4.. but there are tracks for fourbies aswell..

Theirs nothing wrong with ripleys just go through the enduro tracks hes got. Respect it cause its basically the only place you can legally ride.

ripleys CLOSED
coomera CLOSED
blackduck is the winner.
other wise go ormeau quarry or logan village, always heaps of bikes and fourby's there.
legal - stanmore mx track at yatala
some tracks at pac pines, and theres a track on ormeau exit northbound 49 i think, on the side of the offramp.

black duck would be easily two/three hours from goldy, its 40mins west of gatton?

johnno road/coomera/reedy is all closed

ripley not too sure about.

black duck is re-opened

stanmore mx and reedy creek mx would be your best bet, you will have to buy a recreational licence fom motorcycling australia before you can ride there.

What's wrong with getting a licence and recreational rego on your bike then riding in pretty much any bush you want that isn't a national park? Works fine for me.

cause i dont want to ride on the roads, its a dirtbike... want to get into trails but no where to ride it seems

what he sugested alows you to do it anwhere you want just a side effect of that is being able to ride on the road

oh yeh i get ya lol

ust cos you dont want to drive on the road it doesnt mean its 100% legal to ride in the bush.

If you want to drive legally, you have to register the bike 100%. Thats the problem.

Don't even bother with that shithole... If you wanna go riding that's not to far away just go to the logan village pine forest that's where i go sometimes twice a week. Never get any hassles from cops or anything but i stay out of the conservation area and go mainly on weekdays when its quiet.
