looks like i'll be there. has anyone got any secondhand slicks i can trash? i've got some cheap rubber and the original traxxas tyres, but nothing super sticky.

or i could concentrate on actually driving!

seems george neglected to inform anyone that he wasn't going to bother turning up....

they wonder why people don't bother turning up on time or at all lately. might have to go start my own on road racing group i think.

This is beyond a joke chris, I was all ready to come out too when i got adams call and thought what a was of time that was.
Something realy needs to be done fast oveosley the one's running it don't care anymore

Took the kids and the truck out to the humptydoo skate park yesterday and was doing back flips on the ramps and half pipe till i did two big ones going up that high i was touching the wheels on the shade cloth 12 foot above the top of the ramp and landing on the back concreat side of the grass and busted a rear wheel hub, s bended the rear dog bone banana'd the front dogbone and enlarged the crackes in the bidy and put a few more crackes in the body. It landed on its roof quite alot of the time till i got the hang of it so the body is prity ruffed up now. There was some kids there that i think they got some vidio of the back flips.

They had a dirt jumping area that diddnt look to bad but i broke the truck before i got to try it out.

tell me about it dean. we had people in the carpark ready to go racing after trevor and bill fucked off.
where can we get that marine rope and lot's of it? more to the point how can we transport it.

week after next i'm laying it out there.... pull your fucking head in or i'm starting it up somewhere else and will be taking everyone with me. sick of being fucked around because these mob can't be fucked doing anything. no wonder the slot car racing fell on it's arse

dean - skate parks are evil!! i was jumping quite happily at the watergardens one last year. then the red mist came in and i thought i could do it vert style on the quarter pipe. turns out i couldn't. bent both left axles. i managed to bend them back straight though when i got home.

marlows lagoon grass hills are the place to be though.

Yeah, next time i think ill just stick to to dirt jumping area there. it puts allot of extra load on the esc and motor as my esc dosn't normaly get hot but it did this time. I Wont be too fused about the truck braking once it becomes a basher and spare for the race truck, i still love just thrashing and bashing a truck till it brakes :P

I did manage to straiten the drive shafts back out and glue the rear hub back together but will get new stuff later before racing next friday

hey

just a suggestion if no one is turning up at bishop st lucky i didnt go cause last time i went to go see it no one was there either. There is few empty cars parks i know of that we could race at and few different areas and the govt is quite nice they have them nice and lit and night.

so all we would need depends on which car park is avaible depending on activties going on in the area is mayabe so more lights. Cause i know one car park that seems to be only used when some big event is on otherwise is empty.

So let me know if any is intrested and its around the corner from me and alot more area than the car park at bishop st so you could run faster cars there.

Just a thought let me know what other people think im keen to do on road racing

What's the trick to charging the 3s lipo. I set the charger to 3s and plugged it in through the card. It came up with a cell voltage error though.

I used that balance card thing to plug it all in to the charger but it came back with an error. I'll take it into Jeff's and try one of his chargers cos I think that is how dean has charged it before.

You did have both leeds pluged in as usual didn't you as the dean and balancer or have it plugged in the correct plug on 3s

Have done my own dodgy vershion today and will put pics up soon. Have rebuilt the old yellow tto1 RX7 that had no front end left and now has a complete new front end, rear flairs,drift wing and body patches.

Here it is drift pig mazda enousx7 it dose not have the flairs or the rear bumper fixed yet in these pics. Pity the new front wasn't perfectly strait to start with so it defenitly not prity

Yep. Both leads and plugged into 3s spot. Could I grab that other balance circuit off you and I'll see if jeff's charger will do it.

Ill pick you up and well go into parap dont be soft so i can test franken7.
Things you do when your board and somone buyes a new hot glue gun and you have 2 old boddies, black paint,and some crapy stickers and left over bits from other boddies.

Only a few scratches on the paint and a broken rear wing after clipping a gutter and rolling it bracking the left mount. But the new body kit survived without getting busted off. Must have done it too well :)
