16" is minimum size for a VE(Omega run 16" steelies with some breathing room around the caliper You dont need spacers, just a 2mm thick hubcentric ring, which any machine shop could make up for you OR machine the pre-VE commodore wheels bigger and fit an Ford hubcentric ring etc) Stock SS brakes will clear 90% of pre-VE wheels This is a little unclear to me, are you saying run a steel rim and just make up a hubcentric ring? What is the deal with a Ford ring? Not really interested in runnning a 16" rim as the tires are too expensive to just do skids on, easies to get cheaper 17 tires. |

I was only pointing out that you can fit a 16" rim if required. |
