Hey everyone, I've been planning on starting a lowrider project for quite some time now and it is finally the right time to start. I'm from the Gold Coast, QLD and I've heard hydraulics are illegal here, how true is this? Illegal or not, no matter what I'm still getting hydraulics, I just can't seem to find any company over the internet that installs them around the Gold Coast or Brisbane areas. Does anyone know of any buisnesses that do it with a good reputation. If there's no where in QLD wheres the nearest place? Bags are not an option. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all. This post has been edited by Bapupa: May 18 2010, 12:40 AM |

Just asked afew mates who have old bagged chevs and they all say hydros are very much illegal in australia. ![]() But if you can be helpful please do enlighten us. I don't particularly care what your mates reckon nor am i hear to educate you. I know of a few cars in NSW that are engineered. So does Mexsgarage install hydro kits that I would have to purchase elsewhere? Does anyone know of any companies that specialise in hydraulics that install there own gear around the Gold Coast area. Yes he can do hydraulic installations. He would be able to source it from the states for you too. |
