I bought some stuff off Just Jap just over a week ago. Processed my order, the stuff all came within two days... Though.

I received two invoices for different orders of the same parts and was double charged. I called up and they said they'd sort it out. They canceled the extra order but the money still hasn't gone into my account and I have sent about at least four emails with proof of the double invoices and money being taken from my account and have called them five times.

They either say "we'll sort it out" or "we'll call you back" and they don't call me back! Now it's been over a week!

It takes about one minute to put money back to a Mastercard... I'm getting interest on it now to! head_wall.gif

Anyone else had a bad experience?

How the F@#$ do I get my money back!?! dunno.gif

Contact your financial institution and initiate a chargeback.

They are also really busy, so you may not be their first priority just give it time GL.

I have never had any issues.

You aren't paying interest on that amount yet mate. Most credit cards give you 39-60 days interest free period (depending on which card), given you made the purchase only one week ago, your safe for the moment. Of course you probably already knew that, and were most likely trying to make things seem more dramatic.

Just Jap are good, sounds like your communications skills are not and could do with a dollop of patience too.

They have been a sponsor on NS.com for years.

You will get it all sorted, just keep your cool and be professional when dealing with them on the phone. Generally when you start being a cock people don't go out of their way to help you.

If it was done over credit card, there is a really easy solution for you.

Call the bank, advise them you want to raise a dispute over a charge. You fill out the form, sign it and fax it back. The moment they receive it, you'll get your money back.

The good thing about being a credit card holder, you almost always get your money back. It's the merchant who will end up being short in the end.

Source - I have a merchant account.

send them an email saying you will get a current affair involved
this will fix em up

it takes longer than a minute to put money back into a master card account, it can take a week sometimes.

you could initiate a dispute saying you didn't authorise the second transaction, but this takes time too. you need to fill in a form and autorise bank to act on your behalf, they contact merchant asking for proof of transaction and they are given time to provide that proof (could be anywhere from a week to a month).

just sit tight and stop whinging, i am sure they'll sort it out for you.

as far as being charged interest, it is more likely the funds are being held by the bank but won't actually go through as a transaction meaning you won't be paying interest.

Trust me GHOSTY my communications skills are very good. I am studying communication at uni. I have been very polite and have rung them five times. They just say " it will be sorted tomorrow".

I have also emailed them a fair few times, providing all transaction records so on...

It really only takes one minute to refund money to a credit card.

I'm not trying to bag them, they seem like a reputable good company, and now seeing the amount f people that have had positive dealings with them.

I was just wondering why it has taken two weeks.

Supposedly this afternoon it will be sorted... For the third time. Third time lucky maybe!
