hey mate i was just after a quote on some standard discs front and rear for a AU series 2 ford falcon 6 cyl. is there much difference between v8 and 6cyl brake set up? also what are my options with pads? |

Hi mate, Standard discs for the AU2 are $47 each for the front, and $43 each for the rear. 6 and 8 cyl are the same. Pads, for a high performance street pad, we'd recommend a QFM HPX. $79 per axle set front or rear. Basically a Bendix Ultimate equivalent performance wise, but very low dust and rotor wear. I'll be hitting the track 6-12 months down the track. 200-250rwhp for the street and 300-400 for the track. When I go for more the track based car i'll be going to 5stud hubs and better discs. So for now maybe standard or slotted discs and performance street pads? with regards to the AU2, what are the price on the standard pads? as it's dads car he thinks performance pads are unnecessary.
