i'm shore this has been asked a million time's but what is the penalty for a p plater driving and turbo car THAT'S IT .... |

Just remember that every person that contravenes the 'high powered' vehicle restrictions is helping to ensure that the restrictions remain permanently and are depriving future P platers of the chance to drive anything more powerful than a ride on mower. |

So how is that? When I was just normally driving in a turbo vehicle? I wasn't doing anything wrong just driving home. If anything it's demonstrating high powered vehicle restrictions are useless and in the right drivers hands make no difference to safety and road death tolls. I just happened to help add to qld transports revenue raising |

I just happened to help add to qld transports revenue raising The reason is when significant numbers of people are ignoring the current laws, any statistical information compiled which would seemingly indicate that restrictions are unnecessary would be meaningless as many people who would ordinarily be restricted would not be compliant with the legislation, and as such any statistical analyses would have a significantly smaller sample size than they otherwise would have (therefore reducing the accuracy of any information), and the results would be flawed. Whether you drive a turbo vehicle on you P's has very little, if any effect on me, but believe me when i tell you that the government will raise the issue of non compliance should the effectiveness of legislative restrictions be questioned in the future. |
