Ummmmmmmmmm

You want to convert to a coil rear end yet you don't want to cut the engine bay becuase it's all original?

Drift and drag setup is a totally different setup...

I hope you have REAL deep pockets.

How much you want for it? You obviously have no fucking idea what you're doing.

I just don't understand though.

You don't want to cut the engine bay because it's original.

But you will happily do more chopping than reapers vago has seen to the rear end.

If it is so nice and original why do you want to make it a track car?

Keep it clean and simple and leave it as a cruiser.

A 1j will fit without chopping anything as will a 304 v8 - good luck with that.

13B mate, plenty of KE20's running 8's and 9's in street trims with tough rotors in em.

You certainly have got a nice plateform love the old KE20's if you don't want to go a rotor then I'd say a SR20 would be awesome in it, so light biggrin.gif

with modified firewall you can sit the engine hella far back and low as for better balance and lower roll center

Don't ruin a KE20 with your obviously unplanned and unknowledgeable 'modifications'. Sell it to somebody who will look after it and buy a S13 or other piece of crap to ruin.

Trade you my S13 for your KE20 with some cashhhhhh

Ha, Ha no.

I didnt come here to get shit and i Obvs. Worded it wrong.. And am not going to argue. But now ive worked out what i want.. just need to work out how to do it.. isnt this the fun part with working with cars?? Working out what would be best? And how it will work? im still learning, and will need help. I cant just be a expert from day dot.

Any way, Plans are Clean the body up, And redo the interior.. While i save for a SR20 DET, Work with that for a while then start on the suspension set up..

The way i say drift/drag set up, I understand there different. But I have seen some cars out there that Go hard at Doing a skidd, racing straight or sliding around a corner. I want something for say power cruise? I can have a go at all the events.. Then maybe later after i work out what i like doing best... Going straight, Sliding, burnouts... Then i will set it up for exactly that.

Yeah, i have had a few people mention rotors... But I have heard if they get driven hard, Like track they need to be really looked after and rebuilt very often.. Or is this just BS. yet again no experience with Rotors, never even Driven or been passenger in one.. But i have to learn some were right?

And god damn that's Quick. Sr20 is the way i think. Will Be reading up tonight on it biggrin.gif

clean it up, original toyota hub caps, Venetians, slight white walland ur set, dont chop up another classic,
pick up a gemini or some thing like that to thrash around a track, or as mentioned, silvia, if you're worried about prices of things i wouldnt worry bout engine transplants at all, ca18det silvias with suspension mods can be picked up for cheap as piss, and ur all most guaranteed ur gonna crash it at some point, parts are cheaper and more
readily available

I agree with not ruining it by making a track car out of it but try looking on Toymods for mod topics
