NA motor would be a different story. and would cause an imbalance.


Looking at most OEM plenums with forward facing TB's, the plenum volume is reduced the further it goes from the TB, thus maintaining cfm@psi for those cylinders the furtherst away. This is reflected by most aftermarket plenums in that they are tapered towards the firewall in forwrad facing TB applications- yet I doubt most of them have done the physical mathematics required to determine the correct resonation for their design, at least not so much as the OE process.
