Thats funny, because i am part of one of the groups of Commodores that is there most weeks, and we stick to ourselves. All of us appreciate the old muscle, and always take a look around and admire whats on display. And most of us drive late model Commodores, and a fair few of them are pretty quick. So its not all of us that carry on with the shit. Although i wont argue that there are some tools out there lol. Anyway, Ferry rd Diner looks like a good new place. Unsure if you missed my criticism or not, certainly wasn't saying anything about the oldschool, but defending them. I'm more than happy to have a place for the old school to attend, it's one of the few places close to home I can bring mine out for a cruise and is now seated on our Club Run register. In fact there is a group of us coming down from the Old School Muscle Car Club both tonight and next fri with a few of our vehicles. As with anything though once it grows it gets publicity, whether from people driving past or from the internet, there will always be people who come to appreciate the cars, and with them will be the wankers that ruin it for everyone. the mini is built by Nathan, the owner of JWE in southport. 240+hp, i happened to witness the build from ground up aswell. the hand made itb's are a work of art, you'd be surprised how much carbon and kevlar work has gone into the car. an idea on how perfect the car is, the engine mounts would flex when the car is on the dyno, there was no rubbing but he'd prefer if it flexed 5mm less... out with the engine, and re-engineered the mounts. 12th February 2010 - 07:03 PM
