and it all happened cause i degreased the engine bay.....

Sounds like a few people missed the trip. whats the outlook on another nissan cruise towards the middle of autumn? or even earlier

Yeah i'm keen for another Nissan cruise sometime in the next few months smile.gif
hopefully they who organise these things are too lol

i almost got screen raped off a stagea on the hills glad it didnt mark was a big rock though. As for the 31 stuff. Oh well another shell. I was right behind that. Didnt look pretty but we can all learn from the mistakes, watch ur distance and pay attention.

Was good being the only 33 4 door on the run. Yeww even if its not painted yet

I was the middle guy in the 31 crash.

I came up over the hill, saw the 33 and hit the pits, stopped fine. Looked in the rear view mirror and saw the white 31 and thought "Um... shit". Ran into my tow bar, and pushed me into the rear of the 33.

The white 31 ended up with stuffed front bar, radiator support, broken radiator, broken thermofan etc as you can see from the pics.

I got a few scratches on my rear bumper and a cracked reverse light, and a crack in the front bar from the 33.

The 33 from what we could see at the time was the rear bar pushed in, exhaust tip pushed in a bit behind the bar, and the boot sitting out a little bit.

poor r33..... A mate of mine ran up my ass in a carpark... i didn't feel so bad when saw his front bar had more of my paint thanI had of mine.

hey just an update, twocents (r33 p plater) he didnt just bend the tip he has a bent mount apparently wen i spoke to him at somerset

definately a great day out, nissan cruise for few months into the year...yes please biggrin.gif

great day, so hot! few little dramas here and there. good to catch up with a few people i havnt seen in years.

as for raptor.. nathan doesnt have an account on here but he has placed it on the hoist and removed the felt that was lining the engine base plate. i believe it was that felt that caught fire and caused the smoke issue.. was a little strange, turned the AC on and a minute later smoke started... not good!

all in all, great day, awesome turnout and great route. LOVED the view from the mountains!

Thanks all for coming. At one stage we had counted over 100 cars! Now i know a few people tooks some wrong turns off the highway and ended up at kilcoy/somerset before us but no matter, we all (or most of us) made it there! Sorry about the 'kirkleagh' road stop. I told 57NGR that that wasnt the right street but he swore by it, So blame him for that tongue.gif haha.


Anyway, Thanks again for all those that came. This was the first MASSIVE cruise ive orginized and all in all i think it turned out really well! I will be putting a little more work/thought into the next one and no doubt it will be around the winter/autumn months as i am also sunburnt sad.gif haha.


Keep an eye out as im sure over the next few days alot of people will post up pics from the day and also keep an eye out for the cruise that in a few months or so will be featured in HOT 4's thumbsup.gif

Keep an eye out for another massive cruise in the near future smile.gif

i can arrange a phone number for u man..wat a fucken dog act...big shame about old mate from, byron gettin rear ended on the way home on smith st(no one on the cruise)..was a big day....good run...shame about a few misleading turns but overall great turnout and dave got some awsome photos...hes just left mine so photos will be up around 8 or 9

Sorry to hear about the 34 whitneybra & the 31 was a shame. Was a good turn out & a nice run up mt glorious. BIG thanks to 'RAPTOR' for the GPS. I owe ya a beer or 10. Good times but next time.... get air-con regassed.... buy GPS. lol have to do it again
