well i was thinking maybe head out sommerset dam way, have a bbq, cricket etc, and then head back through mt nebo etc and then maybe we line up harrys or somewhere for a dinner deal and stuff?

that sounds alright, always wanted to go to mt nebo and yer the brissy valley highway suck, pretty rough in parts

yeah if we avoid the main road out there, we can go out from the city along waterworks, up nebo, across over cotton and down into sommerset, its all pretty good roads and a really nice drive?

yer that sounds alright, which is the damn near mt glorious? and its not nebo i wanted to go to lol been there thats a good road to drive, mt mee is one i wuldnt mind driving but its further up.

plus if people from nissan cruise go to this, could be a lil close together as isnt that going a similar way?

Just a suggestion for the southside meet. the area inside the yellow circle could park over 200 cars. and has 2 or more entry/exit points. so therefore easy for everyone to arrive/leave. its right beside the highway just down from the logan hyperdome. And these parks will most likely be empty on australia day?

edit. inside my artisticly drawn yellow circle/shape, not the one on the west side of the highway(thats a roundabout) lol

so just as a start off but sumone start making a list for the southside/southern cruise group just as a guide as to how many will go?

and might have to see if a few mates want to go as well, could be my last resort if i dont have my Ps in time tongue.gif

when i make a topic for it after a few more things are sorted, itll have a list of attendees, however shouldnt this be on a different day to the nissan cruise? alot more people will go to this if its on a different day, and im pretty sure ill be attending nissan cruise

just checked nissan cruise, yeah aus day is a teusday, nissan cruise is the sunday.

yer it is a different day, nissan is the 24th, and if i have my Ps ill be going to both tongue.gif always good to go for a cruise. and kool. should be a good turnout and depends on wats happeneing because idk but sounds like there might be two cruises, a north and south side one?

Thats actually not a bad idea mate, thats not that far from me lol, but from what i remember im not too sure about the condition of that car park these days, and also for any northsiders it may be kinda confusing to find, seeing how you have to go between fitzys and office works, then under the bridge. but i'll think about it.

Thanks to the members who have been helping out through PM's, your contribution's help.....
Will post Cruise plans as soon as ive contacted some councils about the park or oval idea.

Currently in contact with silysilvia, cause no real use in having two seperate smaller cruises, & he seems to have some experience in organising cruises so might be working with him thumbsup.gif

there are two, one thats running north westerly that sillysilvia is organising for the 26th which is seperate to this one. its not a nissan one, the nissan one is the 24th

If ur after a meet point on the southside with good parking, easy access for 100plus cars try the eight mile plains busway carpark opp the busway, being aus day wont be many commuters. any northsiders can find this and well southsiders should know where it is. Just an idea.
