Engine: 2.8 VR6, 128kw

Exhaust: Not sure actually, not standard but it's not too disturbingly loud

Suspension: Eibach springs and Koni sport shocks

Wheels: Standard 15x6.5 BBS

Modifications: The aforementioned springs and exhaust, aswell as a K&N panel filter

Stereo Audio / Visual: Kenwood head unit and some tweeters

Estimated Power: Not far from standard



Harro wavey.gif I've been looking at Mk3 VR6's for the past 12 months, and some decent examples have came and gone with my dad disapproving of each of them. Was set to get dad's Audi A3 (which is nothing to sneeze at by any means) but stumbled upon this gem by pure chance on Carsales and bought it within a week smile.gif It's a 1997 model (colour coded bumpers and oval indicators) with factory leather seats, original black paint and a very low for its age 95,000kms. So far the plans are simple, drive it around til I get my P's in January and then start looking at completing the sound system.

Haven't got many pictures of it yet, only a few from the Carsales link plus one I snapped today after school, but I hope to have it washed and photographed this weekend biggrin.gif

    i had opne of these for about 3 months before i wrote it off. by far the best car ive ever drive. handel perfect, sound tuff and are a massiev shock to everyone. very very nice car for your p's.

    fuck its depressing writing on here not having my vr6 anymore.

    wow i was looking at this one on carsales! mint condition, and FUCKING HARD to get one in aus with the factory leather. with those low km's. you're a lucky bastard.

    cant go wrong with a vr6 mate. you'll love it to bits. the modding bug will bite, and it will bite hard.

    definitely get some angel eyes, smoked indicators, and crystal fogs. updates the front end to be so much nicer

    get the VR6 lip kit as well. seeing as the aus delivered VR6's got GTi lips.

    Sup smile.gif Washed the car yesterday with a few mates (not a perfect job, but a vast improvement over its previous condition) and took a few decent snaps.. There was about 70 in total, but these are the best few and my favourites biggrin.gif
