hey just curious if anyone has been in troouble or caught with a screamer on their car and wat the penalty would be?

im in qld as well if that makes any difference

You better be talking about external gates only. Screamers on internal gated setups are for fagots.

As for police attention, no nothing so far but I no longer go to any hot spots/potential problem areas.

yeh external wastegate

i wont be going to any hot spots but yeh has anyone had cops look that hard to try defect u

I had one.

I have a piece so i can plumb it back in within 5 minutes. Brb getting pic.




Thats on a 50mm Trust External Gate. As you can see, easily plumbed back in if i want to.
Yes i've been pulled up on it. 1pt defect and $150 fine for the screamer, along with a fuckload of others for more shit... Lol

yep illegal.
emitting exhaust gas before cat converter.

Most general cops wouldnt know.

But get the G.I.Joe Hoon Task Force, ... they know what they are lookin for straight up.

Ive had 2 state traffic officers at different times go over my car and both tell me that the screamer is illegal. But not do me for it.

I dont have a screamer pipe....just the ext wastegate.

Never been pulled up on it. How would they know u have one unless you are on the gate, or they put your car on a car stand?
