you generally (as a general rule) want a low first number, and high last number. so like 5, 10, 15 - 30, 35, 40

mate I use 5W-40 full synthetic for my S15... seems to be alright. 0W seems to run too low when starting the car for the first time of the day, not a fan.. 5W holds a bit more. have fun!

HPR 15
its a 15w-60 semi synthetic
best of both worlds, not to synthetic so you wont glaze your block not to mineral so its not too abrasive.
if you search around you will find 6L for the price of 5L. they have that deal a bit. You won't look back after using that oil.

EDIT:
then again it depends where you are. I'd use HPR 15 in qld because generally its hotter up here than other states.
if you're alot further south use a thinner oil like HPR 10 or HPR 5

I use Royal Purple 10w-40 in my S15. It seems to like it...it is around $90-110 for 5L.

another vote for HPR15.....great stuff at a good price. smile.gif

Puts up with the rigours of drift, so will only be better with general street use smile.gif

if the car sees some track then hpr 15
but if its street then you should only go the hpr10
i ran this in my s13
if you have the cash get some sin5 or sin10 (forget which is which) but a 5/10w40/50 would be the go
50 is prob a bit too thick seeing as its winter tho (cooler temps) and nissan recomend a 10-30 i think
