maybe dunno.gif but since when have cops cared if something is adr approved or not
but i read somewhere that some places say that they meet adr standards but neglect to mention that aren't actually adr approved

not sure about Carbon fibre, i was under the impression they were illegal.

BLITS (Not Blitz) are the only ADR approved Fibreglass bonnet manufacturers/suppliers in Aus. as far as i know.

As i said before the other post got moved/deleted. Carbon fibre bonnets in Queensland are generally illegal as the carbon fibre shatters and does not comply with the ADR standards for accident force absorbtion. Yes there are ADR approved bonnets, I'm only actually aware of 1 in production, yes it is expensive and yes the police (through ignorance) with try and defect you anyway unless you fight tooth and nail to prove otherwise and while they're at it probably defect you for other modifications. Long story short, I wouldn't think it's worth the hassle.

If you "don't want extra hassles" then the easy answer is no.

BLITS BODYKITS

We are the first company in Australia to have fibre glass street legal bonnets for road use in Queensland and soon all states of Australia. Having been in the fibre glass industry for over 14 years we have seen allot of different technology changes and have used what we have learnt through the years to help us gain this achievement of street legal fibre glass bonnets.

You could just use a standard bonnet and push an extra few kw to cover for the "weight reduction" having a carbon bonnet will gain you.... In the long run its going to cause you massive headaches. Certain things scream "try to defect me" and carbon bonnets are one of them.
