Lol first time one of my ideas has been liked on boost - epic personal event LMAO.

If the name is going to stick let me know - I've got a mate that works at a print shop. I might be able to hook up some t-shirts if given enough time. (about 2 weeks notice) the cost will be kept at a minimum to ensure that any profit made can be passed onto Starlight (I may even take a hit in the hip pocket if need be)

Either that or I was thinking Stickers? Something to let the public know that we're actually on a charity cruise. Might even encourage the police to give us some room/support etc etc ...

thanks somuch everyone this will be a great event!

headlights for hope ireally like, and seems to be liked overall so i think we should roll with that.

as for posting this on other sites/organising cruises adjacent to headlights, you are more than welcome, the more people who know about this the better!

please pm me your number if you can help in regards to media coverage/t shirts/stickers etc and i will give you a call, any help in making this event run assmoothly as possible will be greatly apprecviated.

Any amount of money raised would be great, also If yall know of any companies that would like to support the cause by donating suitible prizes for the show and shine, peoples choice etc then please let me know, it would be a great advert for the businesses that come on board!

lol i was thinking the samething guys but u's beat me to it about getting businesses to either donate money or stuff for prizes also what about getting prizes for a sound off comp?? Also what about getting thos rubber wrist bands things u see people sell for like $2 people can wear that on the day to as well as when they want to?? if u's need any extra hands let me know ill be glad to help if i can cant wait for this one smile.gif

sound off was already on the cards but im just not sure where we could get our handson a decibel meter?? maybe the 5-0 will lend us one haha

once you setup where the final big meet up is have a look around at some audio shops to see if they wanna sponsor a decibal meter for the day (it'll give them a chance to get a display for the shop happening)

if u can ring pioneer as the have a guy who drives their car with all the sound off gear skyline r34 met him at parklands last year who know he might be there this weekend at parkland i believe stadium drift is on if anyone is going try and ask him and mayby get his number to pass on??

Pioneer got rid of him and all there reps in Australia, he now works for autobarn capalaba. due to the economic crisis i am told.

Was just contacted by redland showgrounds they decided not to let us use their feild...I am looking atother options but can anyone suggest any other venues? Also, does anyone know the contact details for the organiser of streetwarz? Cheers, tim

As a venue, the park on strathpine road could be an option. its quiet a large place and would fit a lot of cars im thinking. just a suggestion though.

Yeh this sounds aewsome im definatly in, prob get about three more cars too. Just an idea wot about a minimum donation per vehicle? (worked for street commodores cruise and they raised thousands)

Spoke to Tim tonight at the cruise about what his plans were, sounds like a really good event and heaps of people are getting behind it, so lets support it all and make a good day of this - can't wait for it actually!!
