Anything would be better than last weekend... I volunteered my services as a sound engineer and lighting/vison tech for a charity gig and ended up having to put up with Shannon Noll all day. Had to keep reminding myself it was for a good cause!

Haha i've always had a soft spot for Subi's, but yes that weekend out at powercruise definately converted me. I won't own anything but a subaru now, so much fun to drive haha. I will have to come for a cruise down your way sometime to show you. Ive only had her 3 weeks tongue.gif

head off at 7.30am to meet up at the Newmarket meet point

Hopefully around 5 from here and at least 10 more from Rexnet. Not a huge cruise but enough people to have some fun.

Insurance asessment is booked for the day after angry.gif

I've had my quotes done and the shops took photos, would it be ok for me to give the area a cut and polish before the assessment? There's a fair bit of orange taxi paint on my guard and the less damaged I can get my car to look for the cruise the better.

I can't see how it would (as the evidence is already there in the pics) but I don't want to jeaporadise my claim in any way. The paint marks sort of support my story as to how he hit me and I have no witnesses.

Doing an upper engine clean and changing in some fresh Mobil 1 now... biggrin.gif

Was going to have a few mates in the back but it's just me with the mrs in the passenger seat now. Should help the power to weight ratio.

Rang Just Car today, the pricks told me I can't polish up my ding before the assessor sees it and, get this, they don't want me to wash the area either. head_wall.gif It's been rained on about ten times since it happened.

Well it's almost here.

It might be a good idea for everyone who is definitely coming to PM me their mobile number and either their rego plate or a description of their car (colour and model) so we don't leave anyone behind at the meet. Anyone who wants my number can PM for it too.

Craig, maybe you could send me a text to let me know when your group leaves the southside and how many of you there is.

I don't have a UHF so I'm not expecting anyone else to bring one either but do so by all means.

Most important is to have your petrol tanks filled, fluids and tyres topped up etc, on Saturday night, so we can all get on the road straight away in the morning.

Don't forget sunscreen, cameras, some good tunes and some company to ride with. Depends on where we decide to have lunch as to what it will cost but there are options like the baker and sandwhich shops for around $10.
