Post #1 post 3rd April 2008 - 10:32 PM
Hi all,

I'm chasing some dry ice to get rid of the sound deadening in the Skyline as I've been told its alot quicker using that. Does anyone know of any ice suppliers on the Northside that sells dry ice ? Not too keen on driving to Southside or Gold Coast.

Cheers

not sure if they are still around, but QLD ice used to supply us with dry ice for packing goods for air freight.

There is a dry ice reseller on the South Side. They're called "Arctic Ice" if I recall correctly...

its really cold... makes things brittle so you can easily chip it off.

You can also use it to help cool your car ... have seen it put infront of intercoolers (like a water spray on steroids) and in intercoolers (ice box style)

You've got three main places - Fishing stores, gas suppliers or gas agent.

So places like BOC or Air Liquide are the best and cheapest bets, because ultimately all the other places order directly from them.
