Pretty sure theres people from that particular company on here as members anyway?... perhaps we could find out from them what the truth was behind this matter ... if any What happens if a member post the name of the business on here ? |

This story is legit. I heard about it months ago and from my work mate who knows the poor bloke personally. After going there to get the work done they over charge him so that he can't afford to pay. Then they suggest using his car as a promo car for the workshop and will spend lots more money on it and it just snowballed from there. This workshop left myself with the worst taste in my mouth and i only went in to get a quote for a new turbo when my car was down the road getting $2000 worth of suspension done. Fella put the hard sell on, reckoned that he could get the turbo for cheaper but i had to place a deposit on it there and then. Tried explaining that i have just dropped 2G and am flat broke so he just replies, 'how about you come back when you have some money' WTF im just trying to get a quote your the first workshop i have been to. The he gave me a wishy washy total job quote of about $1500 (while one of the mechanics walks into the show room smoking looking as rough as guts, great impression) to fit it and fix my manifold ect PLUS the cost of the turbo. His mates rates discount would of only saved me $50 of the RRP of the turbo and the total job would of cost at least $2500-$3000. I ended up going to AMEC and getting it done for a total of $2000 which is what they quoted including the price of the new turbo and dump pipe with no bullshit! |

Move to the USA. On topic I say the easiest thing to do is burn the shop down, however the legal avenues are fight it through the courts or default on the loan. I still like my first solution |
